Abstract
Consists of selected correspondence and drafts and/or corrected typescripts of short stories, articles, and five novels of American novelist Benedict Thielen.

- Description:
The collection contains various drafts and/or corrected typescripts of short stories, articles, and five novels of Thielen (Princeton Class of 1923): Women in the Sun , Deep Streets, Deep Streets, Stevie, The Lost Men, and Friday at Noon. Included also is Thielen's correspondence with Gregory Mason, Ruth Fitch Mason, and Eliot Fitch Bartlett.
Additions to the collection include correspondence of Thielen, 1920s-1960s; manuscripts of early, unpublished novels and a play; part of a journal; drafts of unpublished, and copies of published, stories and articles; issues of Holiday magazine (1957-1966) containing Thielen pieces.
