Description:

The collection contains manuscripts, typescripts, and notes for several works of Jesse Lynch Williams (Princeton Class of 1892): an unfinished novel ( His Share of the World, 1901-1904), two plays ( Why Divorce? and Why Marry?), a collection of prose sketches about New York City life at the turn of the century, and several short works, both fiction and non-fiction. Also included are diaries, notebooks, and appointment books, 1890-1912.
