This series richly documents Princeton University buildings and grounds during Marquand's tenure, but also includes photographs of paintings, book, and manuscripts the Marquands collected, and a large photograph album.

The photographs are organized into three subseries: one for groupings of family, friends, and Princeton photographs, one for other photographs of paintings and manuscripts owned by the Marquands, and one for the Marquand's personal photograph album.
