Description:

The collection contains correspondence, photographs, documents, ephemera, and printed matter relating to Margaret Jane Pershing's collection of over 200 volumes of Emily Dickinson's works, which were donated to the Department of Rare Books in 1969. There is a significant amount of material relating to the Seven Gables Bookshop of New York City.
