- Description:
The collection consists of miscellaneous material relating to various members of the Alexander family: family correspondence, autobiographies, biographies, genealogical records, manuscripts, poems, sermons, a map, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, a scrapbook of letters, resolutions, and other documents relating to the death of the Reverend Henry Carrington Alexander; and a photocopy of a picture of Mrs. Isaac Halsted Williamson (grandmother of James Waddel Alexander, 1839-1915).
