- Description:
The collection consists of letters to Vinton or collected by him, including some relating to his position as librarian of the Chancellor Green Library at Princeton (1873-1890), several letters regarding the Peithessophian Society (Rutgers University), and a letter from the secretary of the Board of Trustees of Amherst College announcing the conferring of an honorary degree on him.
