- Description:
The collection consists chiefly of correspondence, both personal and official, covering the years Burrough served as an American consular official in Veracruz, Mexico. Included are letterbooks, financial records, documents--articles of agreements, certificates of apprenticeship, and mercantile tribunal proceedings--and printed matter, as well as some correspondence by people other than Burrough.
