Consists of sermons, correspondence, documents, diaries, commonplace books, diplomas, and miscellaneous financial papers of nineteenth-century pastor Eli Field Cooley (Princeton Class of 1806).

The collection consists of sermons, correspondence, documents, diaries, commonplace books, diplomas, and miscellaneous financial papers of Cooley (Princeton Class of 1806). The bulk of the collection is comprised of sermons written by Cooley while he was pastor of the First Church in Ewing Township, New Jersey, some of his correspondence, and letters to Emma L. Rose Cooley (Mrs. William L. Cooley) by several of her relatives. Also included are Cooley's diaries for the years 1826, 1828, 1831, 1836-1840, 1842-1860; indentures and lists of goods and chattel; and financial notebooks, cancelled checks, and receipts.
