Consists mostly of eighteenth-century correspondence and documents of members of the Olden family of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including Benjamin Olden, Ephraim Olden, John Olden, and Samuel Olden.

The collection consists mostly of eighteenth-century correspondence and documents of members of the Olden family of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including Benjamin Olden, Ephraim Olden, John Olden, and Samuel Olden. The collection contains estate inventories, a partnership agreement, leases, a will, a deed, receipts, and articles of agreement. In addition, there is a copy of a sermon (1769) by Samuel Fotheringill.
Additional accessions include twelve letters (1818-1826) from Hugh B. Ely to his father-in-law, Joseph Olden, about family matters and eight letters (1800-1810), also to Joseph Olden, from Alexander Elmslie chiefly about investments.
