Consists of correspondence and miscellanea of the American author Maria Hornor Lansdale (b. 1860).

The collecton consists primarily of letters to Lansdale written by her physician-friend Walter Biggar Blaikie of Edinburgh, with several containing comments on her book Scotland, Historic and Romantic (1905). This correspondence spans over a quarter of a century, from 1900 to 1928. Also included are letters from Lansdale's publisher Henry Holt regarding her translation of Grazia Deledda's Doppo il divorzio [After the Divorce] (1904), as well as letters from the artist Cecilia Beaux, the novelist Ellen Douglas Deland, and James E. Wood. There are also four photographs of Blaikie and a small selection of miscellanouse correspodence.
