24 letters and the following related documents; report on decision reached by occupying armies concerning responsibility for the debts of the former Kingdom of Italy, June 30th 1818; extract of letter from "d'O" to Bataille (original dated July 11th 1818), with observations by Bataille and list of valuable objects once in the possession of Beauharnais, July 22nd 1818; copy of letter to Bataille from d'Anstell, enclosed in letter of August 2nd 1818; notes on literature concerning Russia and its history and statements of Bataille's debt to Beauharnais, both enclosed in letter of July 19th 1819; projected designs and inscriptions for medals, undated; draft of letter from Bataille to Reezenberg, undated; draft of letter from Bataille to Lurchenfeld and related notes, undated; 4 records of debts accumulated during Napoleon's reign, undated.

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process.
