Scope and Contents

Consists of financial records, in the form of reports, letters, and other documents prepared by Hennin as Receveur Général des Contributions (Collector of Contributions), 1806-1813, concerning contributions to war funds of the Kingdom of Italy by the Venetian states and funds transferred between conquered territories and the army. Also present is correspondence to and from Hennin as Trésorier de la Couronne (Treasurer of the Crown), 1807-1814, and Ex-Trésorier de la Couronne, 1817-1823, discussing accounts, salaries, funds paid into the Treasury, and other financial transactions.

Arrangement

This series is arranged into three subseries: Contributions to War Funds of the Kingdom of Italy by the Venetian States, Funds Transferred Between Conquered Territories and the Italian Army, and Correspondence of Hennin as "Trésorier de la Couronne d'Italie."

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process.
