Collection History

Custodial History

As part of the New Jersey Tercentenary celebration (1664-1964), the state inaugurated a publishing project to produce a series of books about itself, the New Jersey Historical Series. Governor Richard J. Hughes invited Julian P. Boyd to edit Fundamental Laws and Constitutions of New Jersey, which appeared in 1964 as Volume 17 in the Series. This box of copies was used by Boyd in that project.
