Zelia Gattai and Jorge Amado were unable to read at the event due to sickness, so their daughter, Paloma, and her husband read their literary works in Portuguese. Ribeiro shares a story called "Insidious Bull" from his "Book of Stories", first in Portuguese, then in English.
