Scope and Contents

Includes a notebook (1949) with drafts of the English translation of samples of To kivōtio by Arēs Alexandrou. There is also a copy of the introduction written by Robert Crist; a synopsis composed by the author; a brief biographical note on Alexandrou; a holograph by Kaitē Drossou to Tsitselē (1987); and photocopies of two typed letters by Giannēs Ritsos to Alexandrou, dated 1972. The novel was eventually published by Kedros (1996) in English translation by Robert Christ.

Processing Information

This collection was originally processed in 1998. New material was acquired and the collection was revised, reprocessed, and completed by Kalliopi Balatsouka in 2010. Finding aid compiled by Kalliopi Balatsouka in 2010, incorporating descriptions generously prepared by Prof. Peter Mackridge.
