- Description:
The collection consists of 92 letters, addressed to Corsini in Florence, Italy, from his agents and various merchants in Bologna, Genoa, Lucca, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Parma, Pisa, Rome, Siena, and Venice. The letters contain financial and commercial information relating to Italian textile manufacture and trade. Many of the letters also contain examples of the various guild signs for Giroldi of Bologna, Strozzin of Venice, and others.
