- Description:
The collection consists of 207 letters written to Libbey by 89 different correspondents associated with Princeton University, the greater scientific community, and friends. Represented are Wilson Farrand, New Jersey Governor James F. Fiedler, Arnold Guyot, Ivy L. Lee, John Maclean, Allan Marquand, Junius Spencer Morgan, Robert E. Peary, Joseph P. Tumulty (as secretary to Woodrow Wilson), Henry Van Dyke, William H. Welch, and Woodrow Wilson.
Also included is a commencement program (une 1877) for the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University).
