- Description:
The collection consists primarily of manuscripts of Waters but also includes a scrapbook of clippings about her literary publications, related correspondence, a 10"x12" photograph of the author, and selections of newspapers (1870-1932). Manuscripts include substantial sections of entries for her A Handbook of Legendary and Mythological Art (New York, 1871) and "A Medley of Thoughts about Women" (AMsS, 154 pp., dated 1869).
