- Description:
The collection consists chiefly of correspondence between Bloomfield and Nicholas Biddle, David Brearley, Aaron Burr, Thomas P. Johnson, Samuel McLane, Edward Miller, and Rev. Andrew Hunter. Also present is a circular letter (1802) sent on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the College of New Jersey announcing the destruction of Nassau Hall and asking for money to re-build it, and an address (1808) of the Trustees of the College signed by Bloomfield.
