- Description:
The collection contains Civil War-related documents and newspaper obituaries of Brown and manuscript college reports by his son, George Russell Brown, Jr. (1893-1968, Princeton Class of 1914), on literature and economics, written while he was a student at Princeton University. A copy of Brown's official prisoner report details his nine-month Andersonville Prison experience in 1864.
