- Description:
The collection consists chiefly of documents of John Anstis (1639-1714) and his family. Most of the documents concern property, clothing, and jewelry belonging to and left by Anstis's daughter, Mrs. Mary Hooper, at the time of her death, as well as to expenses incurred while Mary was living will her father during her terminal illness.
