The collection consists of material by or about Mark Twain: correspondence, photographs, material relating to Twain's "1601," and ephemera. Correspondents include Olivia Clemens (his wife), Frank Bliss, Frank H. Ginn, Alexander Gunn, John Hay, Harold Loomis, Charles Orr, James Ripley Osgood, and Horace Russell.
