Included are certificates of the Chicago and Canada Southern Railroad Company (1800s-1900s); The Detroit Monroe & Toledo Railroad Company (1850s); Jersey Shore, Pine Creek & Buffalo Railway Company (1800s); Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway Company (1907); The Mahoning Coal Railroad Company (1800s); New Jersey Junction Railroad Company (1800s); New York and Northern Railway Company (1900s); The Peoria and Eastern Railway Company (1890s); Utica and Schenectady Rail Road Company (1840s-1850s); White Water Rail Road Company (1800s, 1878, 1890s). Some certificates have coupons still attached. Some certificates are signed by the company presidents. Printers and engravers of the certificates include the National Bank-Note Co., New York; Franklin Bank Note Co., New York; Franklin-Lee Bank Note Co., New York; The American Bank Note Company, New York and Philadelphia; Henry Seibert & Bros. , New York
