The collection consists of Olivier's handwritten notes and manuscripts on the ancient history of Egypt and the Middle East, particularly Greece (and Athens). Topics include great periods in Egyptian history, the Trojan War, the conquest of Sparta, early Greek colonies, the Hellenic race, and the empires of Athens, Persia, and Phoenicia.
