The collection consists of 122 letters by Polish-German author Otto von Corvin to his London publishers, Richard and George Bentley. In addition to his publications, Corvin discuss his connection with Charles Dickens, his American friends the Salm-Salms, his experiences as correspondent for American, German, and English journals and papers, experiences during the Franco-Prussian War, and numerous other biographical and political events.
