Scope and Contents

Consists of a hard copy of Economou's poem: "Es imposible callarla", miscellaneous typescripts of his "Acts of Love" (some annotated in the author's hand) and a hard copy of "Ananios of Kleitor: poems and fragments and their reception from antiquity to the present, collected and translated by George Economou." Also includes Economou's notebook containing the second of the three drafts of Cavafy's "Atelē Poiēmata, 1918-1932" [Unfinished and Uncollected: Finishing Cavafy's 'Unfinished'] (five unfinished poems from C.P. Cavafy). There is also a holograph letter to Dimitri Gondicas dated 2010.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
