Collection Creator Biography:

Cameron, Evelyn, 1868-1928

Evelyn Cameron (1868–1928) was a Montana-based amateur photographer. Her husband, naturalist Ewen S. Cameron, operated a horse ranch near Terry, Montana. Contemporary sales of her prints helped support Evelyn and her husband within her lifetime, but her work was not celebrated until it was discovered posthumously in the 1970s.
