Title from manuscript caption on recto. A Native American man is standing in the center of the photograph in front of a wooden building identified as Brown's trading store. He has two braids wrapped in ribbon, dark skin, a blanket around his waist and is wearing moccasins. He has on a bowler hat, a light shirt and dark vest. He is wiping something on his blanket, or perhaps he has an apron over the blanket. He has an elastic around his right arm above the elbow.
