Title from manuscript caption on recto. This photograph may be a double exposure. In the foreground are two ghostly Native American women standing in front of what may be a large tree trunk. In the near background, at a diagonal, is a large log building with a window in its side. The roof line of the building is a steep diagonal line from the top of the photograph to left of the centerpoint. To the left of the corner of the eave is an open vertical board gate.

The bottom 1/4 of the photograph is a grey blur, a small section at the top of the photograph has missing emulsion in the negative. Abrasions on front of photograph. Smudges on back of mount.
