Collection Description & Creator Information
The collection consists of set decorator Jessica Lanier's set photographs for several of Woody Allen's films from 1999 to 2001, including Sweet and Lowdown (1999), Small Time Crooks (2000), and The Curse of the Jade Scorpion (2001), all of which were shot in various locations across New Jersey and New York. Also present are her copies of the shooting scripts and revisions for Small Time Crooks and The Curse of the Jade Scorpion.
Photographs primarily consist of contemporary color prints and Polaroids, as well as some 35mm film negatives. Shooting scripts, script revisions, and documents regarding the photographs' use are also sometimes included, as are keys that explain the set codes, set names, locations, and scene numbers. Photographs were removed from large binders, and their original organization by scene number was preserved.
