This collection primarily contains letters from Louis Kronenberger to his editor at Doubleday, Larry Freundlich, concerning changes and additions to his book The Cutting Edge: A Collection of Witty Insults and Wicked Retorts, of Polished Snubs and Homicidal Repartee. Also included are letters Kronenberger wrote to Jane Burkhart at Doubleday, as well as to an unidentified correspondent referred to as "Sandy." The letters range in date from 1969 to 1975.
Additionally, the collection contains a typed sheet of corrections to The Cutting Edge, a list of recipients of author's copies of the publication, and a page of biographical notes on Louis Kronenberger.
