    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
    <p>Consists of a notebook (190 sheets, 22.9 x 15.5 cm) with autograph notes by Prince Nikolaos recording his daily activities during 1894. The last 37 leaves are blank. Below the text of August 13th page, there is attached the paper tape of a telegraphic message "Papa answers that he is very happy for you". There are also five cards attached on pages of corresponding dates in September while the Prince was participating in a hunting in Russia; dried leaves in two pages of September; 5 loose leaves with handwritten notes; two blotting papers; 1 card; and 1 photocopy of a photograph depicting a battleship on one side and on the reverse there is a handwritten note "Son Altesse Royale / Le Prince Nicolas." Diary is signed and dated on the front pastedown by Prince "Nikolaos / 1894."</p>
    <p>Album is bound in contemporary flexible leather with the date "1894" on the front cover.</p>
