Collection Description & Creator Information
- Description:
The collection consists of pamphlets, reports, flyers, workbooks, and other materials relating to educational policies and their implementation, to social activism and political participation, and to alternative views on the role of education in Chilean society. While the materials included cover a wide date range (1967 to 2005), most of them were published after 2000. All educational levels, from primary to adult and university education, are represented. Few materials are strictly pedagogical. They were published by government agencies, universities, and a variety of non-governmental organizations.
