The collection consists of pamphlets, reports, serials, and other materials relating to educational policies and their implementation, to social activism and political participation, and to alternative views on the role of education in Colombian society from 1962 to 2005. While this date range is very broad, the vast majority of the materials were published after 2000. Most of the materials were created by non-governmental organizations and universities. Many government publications have also been included.
