This collection contains pamphlets, flyers, reports, working papers, and posters published between 1975 and 2001 concerning ecology and the environment in Brazil.

This collection contains pamphlets, flyers, reports, working papers, and posters published between 1975 and 2001 concerning ecology and environment in Brazil. Most of the materials were published by government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and research centers. The collection has been divided into broad subject areas. Some of these address specific events, such as the Rio Earth Summit, or regions, such as the Amazon forest. Others address a topic, like development or water use and conservation.
The contents of this collection do not overlap with those of the Library of Congress's Brazil Popular Groups collections.
