This collection contains pamphlets, articles, and other miscellaneous items addressing a range of health-related topics in Peru, such as domestic violence, substance abuse, sexual and reproductive health, HIV and AIDS, religious health education, and nutrition. The material is produced by a variety of sources, including various Peruvian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), four state institutions (Defensoría del Pueblo, Ministerio de Promoción de la Mujer y del Desarrollo, CEDRO and CONTRADROGAS), and one international organization (CARE). Most of the material included here was produced with the aim of educating local populations about specific health issues.
