Collection Description & Creator Information
- Scope and Contents
This collection of ephemera consists of pamphlets, reports, periodicals, brochures, and flyers which relate to the armed conflict and human rights in Colombia. With an emphasis on Colombia's political struggle during the past decade (1997-2007), the materials were published by governmental and non-governmental organizations, political parties and movements, including the Armed Revolutionary Forces of Colombia (FARC), as well as international institutions and human rights movements. The documents are divided into four sections: armed conflict, peace efforts, and conflict mediation; human rights; displaced populations; and drug trade and control. Within each section, items are alphabetically organized by publisher and then sorted by title.
