Section 1: Ephemera
Collection Overview
Collection Description & Creator Information
- Scope and Contents
This section consists of both unpublished and published documents, correspondence, propaganda, bulletins, action alerts, clippings and other types of ephemeral material. In terms of intended audience, documents range from reports directed to the US general public to clandestine publications produced by revolutionary organizations. The original filing system, in which The GNIB organized and subdivided materials according to subject, has been retained. Small adjustments for clarity and consistency have been made, where necessary, to the numbering, labeling, and contents of files. The number of items in each file and the range of dates represented by these has been added to each file's original listing.
- Arrangement
The collection is divided into four major sections:
Section 1: Ephemera. Section 2: Serials. Section 3: Studies, Reports, and Other Publications. Section 4: News Clippings.
