- Description:
Lutz's papers document his career as an economist, as well as his work as a consultant on taxation and public finance, and include writings, reports, and correspondence. The majority of the papers are concerned with United States government spending and taxes, and also include information pertaining to economic relief programs, financing the defense program, and government deficit spending.

Personal financial papers and duplicate materials were separated from this collection. Publications were removed to be cataloged separately.
