Appraisal

During processing in 2002, materials related to Carnegie Hall that are not relevant to the public policy collections at Mudd were separated from the collection and sent to the Carnegie Hall archives. There is no indication that material was separated from the July 2007 accession to the collection. No materials were separated from the 2013 or 2014 donations.

Processing Information

Preliminary processing undertaken by Rachel Koblic '94 in 2001. Processed by Rachel Ban in 2002. Finding aid written by Rachel Ban in 2002. Subsequent accessions were incorporated into the collection in July 2007 and in 2014, and the finding aid was updated at these times.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
