For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. There is no indication that any physical processing took place for this collection. When the original deposit was accessioned as a gift in 1989 the collection became the "Max Werner Papers" and the second 1968 gift became "Max Werner Additional Papers". The finding aid for this collection integrates both and they are shelved together at the Mudd Manuscript Library. A finding aid was created from a MARC record in 2007.
