Due to the presence of personally identifiable information, certain documents in the Correspondence series have been removed and a small number of documents in Box 1 have been line-redacted.

- Processing Information
This collection was processed by Adriane Hanson and Christopher Shannon in 2007. Material arrived in five accessions between 2004 and 2007. Processing activities included re-housing material in archival folders and boxes and arranging materials into series as identified in the finding aid. Finding aid written by Adriane Hanson in May 2007. Materials in two subsequent accruals in 2008 and 2012 were incorporated into the existing collection and the finding aid was updated at this time. Additional materials received in 2017-2018 were incorporated into the collection by Rachel Van Unen. Another acquisition of materials was made in 2020 and processed by Quin DeLaRosa in 2022.

Single copies may be made for research purposes. To cite or publish quotations that fall within Fair Use, as defined under U. S. Copyright Law, no permission is required. For instances beyond Fair Use, any copyright vested in the donor has passed to The Trustees of Princeton University and researchers do not need to obtain permission, complete any forms, or receive a letter to move forward with use of donor-created materials within the collection. - Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
Thirteen VHS tapes of Bogle's television appearances are located in Box 10.
