Abstract
John Wallach was Foreign Affairs Editor of the Hearst Newspapers and Hearst News Service from 1968 to 1994 as well as an author and founder and President of Seeds of Peace, an international youth organization; Janet Wallach is a journalist, author, scholar, and President Emeritus of Seeds of Peace. The John and Janet Wallach Papers contain mostly interview transcripts and background information on topics relevant to John Wallach's career.

This series contains interview transcripts and background material primarily related to Mid-East conflicts (Israel, Palestine, and Egypt), including interviews with Arafat and Abu Iyad. Also contains some material on the USSR and South Korea.

Wallach, John.
John Wallach was Foreign Affairs Editor of the Hearst Newspapers and Hearst News Service from 1968 to 1994 as well as an author and founder and President of Seeds of Peace, an international youth organization. He died in 2002.
Janet Wallach is a journalist, author, scholar, President Emeritus of Seeds of Peace and widow of John. For much of his career she was instrumental in his research.
