- Description:
Van Heuven's papers document his career in the United States foreign service and at RAND, and include his speech files, writings files, and correspondence. The speech and writing files (1970-2008) cover topics including United States foreign relations with European countries, political events and history of European countries, global governance, military intelligence, and NATO. The correspondence files (1991-2005) originate from his work at RAND and include his correspondence with government and military officials and scholars regarding his papers, speeches, and ideas about world affairs. Also included is a small amount of biographical information.
