No records were separated from this collection during the course of processing.
- Processing Information
Preliminary processing was conducted by Maureen Callahan in 2011. A MARC record, box list, and finding aid were created at this time. For each of the 2012 accessions, a file list was created and the finding aid was updated at the time of accession. Materials in the July 2012 accession were moved into archival housing. Digital materials in Series 2 were processed by Elena Colon-Marreroin 2015
Access & Use
- Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research with the following exceptions: correspondence between Colin Powell and Edward P. Djerejian shall be closed during their lifetimes, and specially-designated files shall be closed during Edward and Francoise Djerejian's lifetimes.
- Conditions Governing Use
Single photocopies may be made for research purposes. For quotations that are fair use as defined under U. S. Copyright Law, no permission to cite or publish is required. For those few instances beyond fair use, researchers are responsible for determining who may hold the copyright and obtaining approval from them. Researchers do not need anything further from the Mudd Library to move forward with their use.
- Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
For preservation reasons, original analog and digital media may not be read or played back in the reading room. Users may visually inspect physical media but may not remove it from its enclosure. All analog audiovisual media must be digitized to preservation-quality standards prior to use. Audiovisual digitization requests are processed by an approved third-party vendor. Please note, the transfer time required can be as little as several weeks to as long as several months and there may be financial costs associated with the process. Requests should be directed through the Ask Us Form.
This collection contains digital materials. Researchers are responsible for meeting the technical requirements needed to access these materials, including any and all hardware and software.
