- Description:
The Mauerstein-Bail Papers consist of materials related to Mauerstein-Bail's work in global health and development. In the area of HIV and development, the Papers include United Nations (UN) program reports and studies, background material on the global AIDS epidemic produced by other agencies and organizations, and other regional reports, books, special reports and conference materials. Also included are AMICALL newsletters and reports related to HIV/AIDS programs and endeavors in African cities and regions. Water and sanitation materials include several reports as well as an interview transcript and notes for a book project on water and sanitation issues. Other materials include books and reports related to safe motherhood and disability issues, particularly in developing countries.The papers are predominantly UN and other agency reports related to the program areas Mauerstein-Bail was involved with, rather than her correspondence, memoranda, or other records of her direct activity.

Material is arranged as it arrived at Princeton. The interview transcripts are not in chronological order and many are undated.
