Abstract
Robert B. Klausner (1926-2016) was a political activist who supported Bill Bradley's bid for president in 2000. The collection consists of Robert B. Klausner's records related to the overall finances of Bill Bradley's 2000 presidential campaign and fundraising events and strategies in California.

The collection consists of Robert B. Klausner's records related to the overall finances of Bill Bradley's 2000 presidential campaign and fundraising events and strategies in California. Materials in the collection include correspondence about fundraising between Klausner and other campaign aides and supporters, publicity and planning materials related to specific fundraising events, and letters soliciting donations from potential donors, which often contain information about Bradley's platform and the general status of the campaign. Some of the publicity materials and fundraising letters focus on the differences between Bill Bradley and the eventual Democratic nominee for president, Al Gore. The collection also contains a few photographs of Bill Bradley, including one inscribed to Klausner.

Klausner
Robert B. Klausner (1926-2016) was a political activist who supported Bill Bradley's 2000 presidential bid. Working from San Francisco, Klausner was involved in fundraising efforts in California for Bradley's campaign. A Yale graduate and former businessman, Klausner was also an advocate for a variety of environmental and political reform issues in the latter half of his life.

This collection was donated by Mimi (Kim) Klausner, Robert Klausner's daughter, in September 2016. The accession number associated with this donation is ML.2016.025.

One folder containing copies of checks and paperwork related to individual campaign donations was removed from the collection.

This collection was processed by Rachel Van Unen in December 2016 at the time of accessioning. All materials were described in a collection-level finding aid, but no physical processing or rearrangement was done at this time.
