    <p>A Native American (Ute) woman points a wooden tepee pole at the smoke hole of a partially constructed tepee at Garden of the Gods, El Paso County, Colorado. Another woman bends toward a pile of household items near the tepee. A tepee frame stands nearby. The women are probably in Colorado Springs to attend the Shan Kive (Colorado Spring Carnival).
