The first report presents a chart method for calculating the characteristics of a reactor. The second report offers a set of universal curves which could be used to find the characteristics more easily. The third report describes in more detail two specific uses of the universal curves which were not covered in the second report, namely calculation of the d-c flux linkages in the reactor and calculations of problems involving rectifiers.

In 1945, Jorge was elected to the National Constituent Assembly as a representative of the Brazilian Communist Party (Partido Comunista Brasileiro, PCB). As a representative, Amado introduced a law guaranteeing freedom of religious faith. In 1947, the Communist Party was declared illegal in Brazil, and its members were persecuted and imprisoned, which led Amado to go into exile to Europe from 1947-1954.

The collection consists of twenty-four audiocassette recorded interviews conducted by Thomas Colchie (Princeton University alumnus, Class of 1964) of or about Brazilian writer Jorge Amado. Recordings include interviews with Jorge Amado and other writers and artists speaking about Amado. David Kellogg Lewis (1941-2001) was an American philosopher who taught at Princeton University and the University of California, Los Angeles and contributed to metaphysics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of science, decision theory, epistemology, meta-ethics, and aesthetics. Lewis's papers include over four decades of his correspondence with other philosophers and scholars, including David M. Armstrong, J. J. C. Smart, Frank Jackson, D. H. Mellor, M. J. Cresswell, Allen Hazen, John Bigelow, and others, as well as drafts of his articles, books, reviews, and unpublished writings with related correspondence, his undergraduate and graduate student papers and class notes, research materials from his time at the Hudson Institute, photographs of Lewis with friends and fellow philosophers, a group of files kept by the Australian philosopher David M. Armstrong regarding Lewis, papers of Stephanie R. Lewis, and family papers.

This series consists of the correspondence received by Mujica Láinez, as well as a few manuscripts by him, and several manuscripts by others. The series is arranged alphabetically. Included at the front of the series is a chronology of his career and life, written by his daughter (Ana Mujica) and daughter-in-law (Susana Rodríguez de Mujica Láinez). There is substantial correspondence from both Silvina and Victoria Ocampo; his close friend, and novelist Marta Lynch; his friend, and later, biographer, Oscar Hermes Villordo; as well as his Argentinian-Spanish friend Marcos Ricardo Barnatán, and his Spanish friends Guillermo Carnero and Luis Antonio de Villena. There is an undated, four-page letter to Mujica Láinez from Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral, written while she was staying in Buenos Aires. The series is notable for the range of dates which the correspondence spans, 1927 to 1984, and for its varied documents which portray the Argentinian literary scene, primarily in the decades of the 1940s-1970s.

The correspondence files reveal the depth and breadth of Rossi's involvement in a variety of intellectual circles in Mexico and abroad. While the format may have changed over the years from typed or handwritten letters to faxes and emails, the regularity and discipline with which Rossi corresponds with his friends and associates does not at all diminish. If anything, it even flourishes in later years.

Horton Davies was a Princeton University professor of religion; his wife, Marie-Helene Davies, is author of LAUGHTER IN A GENEVAN GOWN: THE WORKS OF FREDERICK BUECHNER, 1970-1980 (1983). Consists of papers relating to the novelist Frederick Buechner (Princeton Class of 1947) collected or created by Davies.

Consists of approximately 110 letters by Louis O. Coxe (Princeton Class of 1940) to his former classmate, fellow poet, and friend William Meredith, primarily during the 1940s and 1970s.
