The Deputy University Librarian and Head of Library Systems subseries consist of the records of Marvin Bielawski. Bielawski served in a number of different capacities with varying levels of responsibility, including oversight of several branch libraries. The records in this group reflect many of these shifting responsibilities. The Deputy University Librarian is responsible for sharing general administrative duties with the University Librarian and for the execution of specific assignments made by the University Librarian. The Library Systems Office provides technology support the University Library. The records consist of email, word processing files, reports, and other documents created, used, and maintained exclusively on a desktop computer by Marvin Bielawski over the course of his nearly 40-year tenure at the Library.

The Technical Services Department Accrual consists of project information, meeting minutes, committee reports, an author catalog, financial information, and other materials which serve to document the activities of the Library's Technical Services Department, primarily between the years 1990 and 2004.

The Departmental Libraries and Collections subseries consists of various records, including correspondence, reports, and pamphlets, about the Princeton University Library's numerous departmental libraries and subject collections.
